形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stem branched above, rarely simple, smooth, erect, 30-150 cm tall, sparsely velutinous, especially on petiole sheath, old stem glabrous; roots fibrous.
• Radical leaves wilted at anthesis; cauline leaves triternate to tetraternate, leaflets 27-81, ovate, obovate or deltoid,chartaceous, 0.9-1.7 cm long, 0.6-1.8 cm wide, the base truncate, obtuse or cuneate, lateral segments often oblique at base, entire, 3-7-lobed, dark green, glabrous above, glabrous beneath, sparsely velutinous; nerves elevated on both surfaces, margin thickened beneath; petioles velutinous; base widely sheathing, membranaceous stipules.
• Inflorescence corymbose-paniculate, terminal or lateral. Flowers greenish white, pedicel sparsely velutinous; sepals 3 or 4, elliptic to broadly elliptic, 2.5-3.5 mm long, 1-2.2 mm wide, apex acute or obtuse, dentate, almost glabrous or slightly velutinous on abaxial side near base, main veins 3, caducous; stamens numerous, 2-4.2 mm long, anthers linear, 0.6-0.9 mm long, filaments linear, dilated above, whitish, connective mucronulate; carpels 15-30, glabrous, 2-2.7 mm long, sessile or nearly sessile.
• Achenes fusiform, glabrous, deeply striate, 3.5-4 mm long, sessile or nearly sessile.

分布

• 台灣 : grassy places and forests in the central mountains and Yushan; 2,000-3,000 m.
• 世界 : Yunnan, western Kweichow and SW Szechwan to Taiwan.
